This took smegging ages.

So I asked myself "What would Sea of Seals look like if it was a manga?" and so I set to work, picking an event that happened back in an earlier chapter, and drew it out.

The chapter, in question, is back around 12 or so, when Smaz finally defeats Carlos with his levitational magic in the Mirru fleet attack. Smaz snaps, and raises Carlos - another knight from the castle, into the air, as well as one of the fleet ships. With his awesome power, he rams the ship into Carlos, causing splinters of wood to fly everywhere, then after being insulted, he uses the wood as projectiles to pierce Carlos after pinning him against the ship. Cool, eh? This attack is called LEVIATHAN. It's also Smaz's ultimate in Crash Mania Brawl.

I feel almost sorry for Izzy and his manga. xD This took ages. I drafted this page two times before finally drawing everything carefully out in pencil. I then started with panel 4 (this reads from right to left, by the way, but you should spot the panel numbers in the corners, anyway) - the hardest panel to draw, to get it out of the way. Inking that panel, alone, took just over two hours. All in all, this must have taken around about 10 hours to draw up and ink. Which bewilders me, almost - I didn't notice the time I spent on this, nor did I think it will take so long. Still, enjoy this anyway, since I'm not doing anymore. The perspective on the ship in the last panel also took a while for me to do, but ultimately I think it worked out well. I over all am pretty proud of how this all turned out.

I also had this in mind to 'advertise' Sea of Seals more to those audiences who do look at my art, but not at my written work. Sea of Seals is a novel by me... and is the thing I want more critique on, yet I seem to get maybe one comment max on each chapter. ADVERTISEMENT.
